Within the Hallowed Temple of Roots and Bones, structure exists to uphold clarity, safety, and integrity across all spaces in which the Temple is expressed. These Ten Sacred Tenets function as foundational agreements that apply equally to all Temple environments, including but not limited to digital spaces, online platforms, ritual gatherings, teachings, communications, and all physical or in-person spaces affiliated with the Temple.
These Tenets are binding communal standards of conduct. They are not optional guidelines, but shared principles that govern participation, engagement, and stewardship within the Temple. They exist to ensure that all interactions remain rooted in respect, consent, responsibility, and alignment with the values of the Temple.
All members, leaders, and participants are expected to understand, uphold, and embody these Tenets at all times while engaging within Temple spaces, whether virtual or physical in nature.
I. Respect for All Paths & Beings
All members must uphold the inherent dignity, worth, and individuality of every person. Discrimination, harassment, exclusion, or denigration of any path, identity, or lived experience is strictly incompatible with Temple participation.
Respect is required in all Temple spaces, regardless of setting, belief system, or personal difference. Diversity of spiritual expression is considered an essential and protected aspect of the Temple’s integrity.
II. Sovereignty & Autonomy
Each individual retains full sovereignty over their spiritual, emotional, physical, and mental autonomy. No member may be compelled, pressured, or coerced into belief, participation, disclosure, or practice.
All guidance, ritual participation, and spiritual support must be consent-based. Members retain the right to pause, withdraw, or discontinue engagement at any time without penalty or judgment.
III. Boundaries as Sacred Guardians
Boundaries—physical, emotional, energetic, digital, and interpersonal—are recognized as essential protections of safety and trust.
All members are required to actively respect communicated boundaries.
Violation of boundaries within any Temple space is considered a serious breach of conduct and may result in corrective action or removal.
IV. Ethical, Transparent Exchange
All exchanges of services, teachings, offerings, or resources—whether voluntary, ceremonial, or compensated—must be conducted with full transparency and informed consent.
Manipulation, coercion, misrepresentation, or undue influence in any form is prohibited within all Temple-related spaces and interactions.
V. Wisdom Shared Freely
Knowledge shared within the Temple is to be offered in good faith and with respect for collective learning. Hoarding of information for control, manipulation, or exclusion is not aligned with Temple values.
Members are encouraged to participate in reciprocal learning environments that prioritize mentorship, dialogue, and shared understanding.
VI. Sacredness of Ritual & Practice
All ritual, meditation, ceremony, and spiritual practice conducted within Temple spaces must be approached with intention, consent, and respect.
Ritual is defined as a sacred act of connection rather than performance or spectacle. Misuse of ritual for manipulation, coercion, or harm is strictly prohibited.
VII. Presence & Active Participation
Members are expected to engage consistently and meaningfully in the life of the Temple, including participation in rituals, reflection, dialogue, shared service, and study.
Engagement is observed holistically across digital and physical Temple spaces, reflecting ongoing presence, contribution, and relational connection rather than a numeric requirement.
VIII. Community as Sacred Circle
The Temple functions as a collective circle of mutual respect and shared responsibility. All members are expected to contribute to maintaining a culture of care, accountability, and respect.
Harmful disruption of communal harmony, including repeated disrespect or refusal to engage in good-faith interaction, may result in review or removal from Temple spaces.
IX. Stewardship of Sacred Energy
All members share responsibility for maintaining the coherence, integrity, and safety of the Temple’s energetic and communal field.
Leadership roles within the Temple serve in a stewardship capacity only. Their function is to guide, support, and maintain alignment with established Tenets and ceremonial integrity, not to exert control over individuals.
X. Alignment with Source & Cosmic Currents
All Temple practice, study, and ritual are oriented toward alignment with Source and the greater cosmic order as understood through collective spiritual engagement.
Members are expected to approach all teachings and practices with discernment, openness, and respect for the interconnected nature of all life and energetic systems within the Temple framework.
